Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara review!

Hey everyone,
                      So this is a Maybelline's new mascara and I got it around a week ago so I think it's fairly new. I usually love <3 Maybelline mascara but this one is not my fave. I don't want to hate maybelline but I want to do an honest review.

Okay, the man in superdrug was begging me to buy this and I can't just say no. I got it and I was excited to try it out. This is supposed to have some sort of fiber extensions which sounds cool. It's supposed to extend your lashes up to 4m which it does lengthen but I still don't like it. The packaging looks cheap and is very light which I don't like. This does sort of clump but not really badly. It wasn't expensive but I still feel I could have saved my pennies for something else I would use.

Pros and No's--

Pros-

• It really does lengthen your lashes. 
• It's cheap and affordable.
• Lasts for a long time.

No's-

• Leaves Clumps
• Makes your lashes look weird
• Doesn't make the lashes look fuller
• Cheap, Crappy packaging

Overall I would give it 2/10! :( :(

Top 5 Soap&Glory Products!

Hey everyone,
                     For X-mas I got a big case of Soap&Glory products so that's were this all came from. I love Soap&Glory all the products have cute names and work really well. I am yet to try out more but this is my top 5 at the moment...

Calm one, Calm all-

Is sooo nice it smells great! It has almost the same scent as a Chanel perfume. This is a Bubble bath and it's sooo relaxing.

Clean on me-

Is a good fresh scented shower gel. It comes in a pump which is handy. I like to use this daily.

Hand Food-

God! This is AMAZING it is great on sore, cracked hands. I love to carry this around with me. My whole family owns a tube of this.

Mist you Madly-

I love to spray this to refresh me. It has a nice strong scent which lasts for hours. I like to spray this on my bedsheets and clothes my weird habit :S

The Righteous Butter-

This has a nice scent and is very moisturising. I don't find this greasy at all which is good. I love the creamy thickness of this.

Glamour Benefit That Gal Freebie Review!

Hey everyone,
                     I love Glamour magazine and loved it even more this week as they were giving out Benefit freebies. The choices were Bad Gal mascara, The POREfessional and That Gal primer. I love all of the products but I haven't tried out That Gal so I got it. This is supposed to brighten the face but I'm not so sure about that. The full size has much cooler bottle as it looks like a glue stick. The product itself is a pinky colour and has a creamy texture which is really nice. I think it smells a bit like strawberry's it definitely has some sort of fruity scent. I apply this after I've applied my face creams and it helps even out the skintone. It gives my face a nice glow and my foundation goes on smoothly. This is different on different skin types as on my it makes my foundation last longer. I can see this sample lasting a long time as you only need a little bit. I will be purchasing the full size once I run out.

Beauty tips and tricks: Lemon Juice for your hair!

Hey everyone,
                    I've been sick lately my sister gave me a tummy bug. I've got a sore tummy
:( But anyway I'm doing a post on lemon juice for your hair. This is a passed down tip from my Gran.

Okay you probably want to know how this helps your hair. It brings out the natural highlights.
The steps-

1. Mix 1/4 of a cup of warm water with 1 cup of lemon juice. Combine this in a spray bottle and dampen your hair with it.

2. Wear sunscreen as you will be sitting out in the sun and you need to protect your skin.

3. You will need to sit outside in direct sunlight for at least 60-90 minutes to begin seeing any colour change.

4. Reapply the lemon juice after 90 minutes in the sun and continue to sit in the sun.
5. When your done wash your hair and apply a good amount of conditioner.
6. Expect the following colour change in 3-4 weeks.

Useful information when doing this is----

Tips:

• Wear tons of sunscreen! It won't completely protect you, but it's better than nothing.
• If you apply the juice to only your natural highlights, you will get streaks. If you deeply saturate your whole head, it will lighten the full colour.
• Be patient! You will need to do this many times to get a big difference.
• Continue this process on multiple days if you don't have much time the first sitting.

Warnings:

• Don't do this too often, since the sun can seriously damage your skin over time. Watch out for sunburn, it's easier to prevent a sunburn than treat it.
• This method may not be that effective if you have dark brown or black hair. Do not overuse; if you use more than one lemon a day, it may add a brassy, odd tint to your hair.

Okay, this is good for if you don't want to dye your hair or are to young to die it. I think this is really cool and have tried this out and it does work well. Also Lemon Juice works on the skin for acne scaring.

Review: 2011 Stila Lip Glaze Trio Warm

Hey everyone,
                     I think the warm lip glaze set was out at X-Mas time. You might be able to get it of Amazon or Ebay. Their are more colours of the lip glazes and more sets. I love these colours they're great for winter because their warmer.

 
The brown one is- Chocolate
The pinky peach one is- Apricot
The goldy creamy one is- creme bouquet


They glide on easily and are not too sticky. I mean compared to some glosses these are very sticky but I don't mind sooo much. You twist the bottom and on the little brush the product rises up. This makes my lips look lovely and the pigmentation is AMAZING.

Beauty tips and tricks: Cucumber cooling pads!

Hey everyone,
                     Right so I'm planing to do 2 of the 'Beauty tips and tricks' posts a week so that's it done for this week. So today I'm sharing the tip of cucumber pads. Michelle Phan did a great video on this if it sounds good watch it below..

I made these they're sooo nice and refreshing. Not to mention my puffy eyes were GONE! An easier way to get rid of puffy eyes is to just slice some cucumber and put it over the eyes. They reduce the swelling or black bags under the eyes. Cucumbers are the most wonderful and natural eye pads you can find for yourself. The puffiness and the tiredness in your eyes may just leave you, if you do this in a relaxed fashion. These natural eye pads do wonders after a long days work.
